HISTORY OF ACUPUNCTURE


Acupunctures has a history as old as man kind. With no corrosion against the storms of time, durable like marble, it has remained until our day. Parallel to human evolution, it took advantage of all stages of development. First man, who rub his temples and observed the ache to reduce, helped the acupuncture to be formed.

The cure art of Chinese, acupuncture has been deeply inspired by the dragons and flying turtles in the legends. The diseases are tried to be explained through the ying-yang philosophy of the Chinese. First acupuncture book was written by Huang Ti Nei Jing, who is known as Yellow Emperor, in 200 B.C. In the beginning, acupuncture was practiced by Uighur Turks, to reference to the pictures inside this book, concerning the hair and costume style of the figures.
