NEEDLES IN ACUPUNCTURE

With the progress in mining periods, the acupuncture treatment, using spiry stones called “Bian” in the dark periods of history, has been over taken by the needles produced of metal.

Needles used in acupuncture are made of gold, silver, platinum, steel and copper. Needles consisting of white metal have a calming influence.

Colored niddles on the other hand, have stimulant and analgesical effect. Golden needles are effective in treating pain, inflammation and fatigue. Silver niddles on the other hand, are preferred for pain as well, hyper activity, depression and trauma treatments.
